In 2023, I changed my design studio name from Northway Design Company to Teken Studios Inc.

I went through the process of Incorporating at this time and spent months on rediscovering who I am as a designer and how I would present myself.

I chose the name “Teken” as a nod to my Dutch heritage, with Teken meaning a sign or symbol. The word is actually pronounced “Taken.”
