Here is a bunch more design work I am proud of! There's always so much to share and so little time.
With a new season about to begin, the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra (TBSO) required a new program booklet to highlight the upcoming shows and provide the design direction to further promote the season on Social Media and through printed mailers.

Utilizing their previous logo I gave the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association a bit of an upgrade to help create a cohesive brand they could showcase on their new website.
We helped them celebrate their 50th anniversary with a new 50th logo as well.
I cleaned things up a bit and chose an interesting colour scheme sure to turn heads and compliment the wide range of individuals who utilize their services. We then created custom icons as the cherry on top!

In 2023, I changed my design studio name from Northway Design Company to Teken Studios Inc.
I chose the name “Teken” as a nod to my Dutch heritage, with Teken meaning a sign or symbol.

As a Multimedia Designer at Nishnawbe Aski Nation, I regularly develop event branding packages that include promotional merchandise, branded décor, digital presentations, and marketing materials for both social media and the website.
I also have the opportunity to design and illustrate for the NAN e-store.

I designed a new logo and branding for Challenge Status Quo, an Indigenous Female led consulting company.
To further guide the new branding, website mockups and social media templates were developed alongside the Brand Guidelines.

The Challenge: Design and coordinate a significant art installation for St. Joseph's Hospital acknowledging the Robinson-Superior Treaty, incorporating "The Seven Clans" by artist Jessica Mamakeesick.
The Challenge: Design and coordinate a significant art installation for St. Joseph's Hospital acknowledging the Robinson-Superior Treaty, incorporating "The Seven Clans" by artist Jessica Mamakeesick.
The Approach: I vectorized Jessica's original artwork, designed a gradient backdrop to enhance visibility, created recognition plaques, and coordinated all aspects of production and installation to ensure the artwork was honoured in this permanent installation.
The Result A prominent hospital installation that educates visitors about treaty relationships while honoring Indigenous artistry—completed on time and within budget.

The Challenge: Ontario Health Team needed a visual identity that honored Indigenous perspectives while meeting healthcare system requirements—all while incorporating original artwork by Janice Toulouse.
The Approach: I worked with the council, members, and artist Janice Toulouse to develop a logo that preserved her artistic style while functioning across applications. The process required vectorizing her detailed artwork, simplifying the palette, and ensuring her vision remained central to every decision.
The Result: A distinctive brand that honors the Robinson-Superior and Treaty 9 territories while representing the collaborative spirit of "Healing Working Together" (Noojmawing Sookatagaing).
Deliverables:
Primary and secondary logo variations
Complete color palette
Brand guidelines
Digital and print assets
Website design direction
